Description
PbTaSe2 vdW layers are nodal-line semimetals. Their structure can be viewed as Pb atoms intercalated into TaSe2 matrix. As such, triangle lattices of Pb atoms layers are essentially sandwiched between the hexagonal TaSe2 layers with large non-centrosymmetric crystal structure. The parent material TaSe2 has been well studied due to its charge-density wave (CDW) instability and many related anomalies in its transport properties. TaPbSe2 crystals were synthesized using chemical vapor transport technique.
