Refund and Return Policy
2Dsemiconductors strives to provide the highest quality products, materials, and services to our customers. If a product is shown not to meet the stated specifications, we will either replace it with a conforming product or, at our discretion, refund the cost of the material to the original purchaser. However, all returns must be communicated with and approved by our staff in advance. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
We do not offer returns for customized products. Examples of such items include specially designed crystals, custom CVD products, and monolayer materials produced exclusively for the customer. For these customized products, the responsibility for defining appropriate specifications and assessing usability rests with the customer.
Returned crystals must be shipped back to 2Dsemiconductors at the customer’s expense. Replacement materials, if applicable, will be shipped by 2Dsemiconductors at no additional cost to the customer.
We do not provide extended lifetime warranties and make no claims regarding the shelf life of any materials we offer, including crystals and thin films. Clients are strongly advised to unpack received materials promptly and store them under dark, inert glovebox conditions to maintain quality.
Refunds will not be granted for materials purchased more than three months prior, especially if proper storage or handling conditions have not been maintained. All refund and return requests must be reviewed and approved by our team before any item is returned.
At its discretion, 2Dsemiconductors Inc. may enter into a written agreement with the purchaser to guarantee that the specifications of a customized product are clearly defined and satisfied. The terms of any such agreement will override this general return policy.
We encourage all customers to speak directly with our staff to discuss return and refund terms. Our team is committed to being responsive and accommodating in meeting your needs and exceeding your expectations.
Shipping charges for replacement items will be billed to the customer’s account unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
