Description
Chromium ditelluride (CrTe2) is a layered vdW magnet material. Recent studies have identified CrTe2 crystals as potential 2D magnetic materials with attractive magnetic, electronic, and catalytic properties. Our CrTe2 crystals have been synthesized at 6N magnetic purity quality to ensure CrTe2 crystals are free of impurities. The growth method involves high pressure synthesis to stabilize 1T phase ferromagnetic phase. The process does not involve commonly used oxidization of potassium (K) or use of transport agents (Cr2, I2, TeCl4) to eliminate defects and impurities.
