In its 3R-phase, NbS2 crystals is a 2D metal and under certain cases (intercalation, pressure, and strain) can exhibit superconducting behavior. These large size NbS2 crystals are grown by standard chemical vapor transport (CVT) technique with designer parameters to achieve structural perfection.
