Description
MoVSe2 ternary alloy transition metal dichachalcogenide crystals have been synthesized using flux zone growth method. Typical alloying ratio is set at 50:50% V0.5Mo0.5Se2. Their composition value was determined using XPS, SAED, and EDS measurements. These crystals come 100% no phase separation guarantee and thus V is fully alloyed into MoSe2 host matrix. While MoSSe, MoWSe2, and other TMDCs alloys have been characterized in the literature MoVSe2 alloys remain largely unexplored.
