Description
TbAsSe is a rare-earth-based polar semimetal that crystallizes in a noncentrosymmetric layered structure, offering opportunities to study novel quantum states such as Weyl fermions, magnetoelectric effects, and nonlinear transport phenomena. Due to the extreme difficulty in synthesizing this compound, our crystals are grown using a custom-designed high-pressure anvil technique. The growth process takes several months and involves precise control within high-pressure, high-temperature synthesis chambers. Each product contains mm-sized single crystals. The properties of TbAsSe crystals are summarized as follows:
Property | Details |
---|---|
Sample Size | mm-sized crystals |
