Description
This product contains full area coverage NbS2 few-layers on double side polished c-cut sapphire substrates. The sample size measures ~1cm and the entire sample surface contains few-layer thick (~2-3nm) highly crystalline NbS2 layers, though the thickness can be engineered.
Niobium disulfide (NbS₂) is a member of transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) family. Synthesized CVD NbS₂ crystallizes in a hexagonal structure, in a 2H (hexagonal) polytype. NbS₂ is metallic in nature, meaning it has good electrical conductivity.
