The only magnetic grade ZnPSe3 vdW crystals in the commercial market. Our customers knows that slim amount of defects and magnetic impurities are sufficient to mask the observation of exotic magnetic behavior from 2D magnets. Our vdW magnets are created using state-of-the-art techniques to provide highest magnetic quality crystals through slow but high quality self-flux technique without using any contaminating transport agents.
Magnetic semiconductor ZnPSe3 has a monoclinic structure with the factor group C2h. The crystal has been synthesized through chemical vapor transport (CVT) or flux transport technique (similar to CVT except chemical transport agent is not utilized to attain high crystallinity and purity) with confirmed 99.999% purity and high crystallinity. Each crystal measures ~few mm in size, perfect 0001 direction oriented. This remains one of the unexplored 2D vdW crystals with potential magnetic properties. All these products are handled using non-magnetic tweezers and in non-magnetic environment with tools that are free of magnetic impurities to ensure intrinsic magnetic properties can be confidently measured and probed.
